Reward points, community status bands and social leaderboads are all controlled by panel and community settings.
Panel and community settings are where you control everything linked to points and Social. You can also look at activity levels across the community/panel via the User Statistics page.
There are various functionalities within Social including:
- Reward Points - each tool type can have a set number of points allocated to them; this then automatically rewards the user that number of points at the point of completion of the task
- Community Status Bands - shows the level of activity on the platform in comparison to other users. It's based on the activty levels over the previous 3 months so a user(s) can go up/down the status bands if their activity level(s) drop, or, if the activity levels of other members increases above that of them
- Social Leaderboards - through the active members page, the 10 users with the highest community status/points/forum posts/logins/poll votes can be displayed to highlight who the most active members on the platform are at that particular moment in time
- Public and private messaging - allows users to write on another users' public profile (public messaging), or allows them to send private messages to each other (private messaging) via the platform inbox. With private messaging, before a user can receive a message from another user they first must accept to receive private messaging
The Social leaderboards will only be visble to users if the active members widget is showing on the homepage as this is gives them access to the latest activty page. Public and private messaging needs to be set at site level by your FlexMR project manager.
