Can members send peer-to-peer messages?

Members can contact each other within the platform via public or private message if the feature is turned on in your InsightHub.

Public Messaging

Members can view and exchange comments within the profile page of the site. Members can go into another member’s profile page and leave a message in the 'public messages' comment box, the comments exchange will then show in their profile page.

Public messages between members can be viewed by moderator and admin accounts within Back Room > Panel & Community Settings > Public Messages:

Private Messaging

Members can send private messages to other members of the site who have opted-in to accept private messages via their profile page.

Private messages are sent and received through the private messaging inbox on the site.

These messages are excahnged directly between the sender and recipient and are not accessible to any other accounts on the site.
