InsightHub AI Capability FAQs

Where is InsightHub data hosted?

InsightHub data is hosted in the EU (Ireland) or US data centres, as you prefer - hosting location is agreed when your InsightHub is set up.

Where is AI used in InsightHub?


AI is used in several ways across the platform:
● to prompt verbatim answers to surveys via the PromptAI tool
● to analyse qualitative participant responses to surveys and other tasks
● for video transcript generation and video analysis.
Note; the only customer-facing outputs generated by AI are from PromptAI question probes; use of this is optional.


Will our customer data and responses be used for model training?


No, data and responses sent by InsightHub to the AI model will not be used for training.
FlexMR operates under the private commercial arrangements of ‘OpenAI’. This guarantees uploaded data does not get passed back into the LLM for its own use, such as for training purposes, ensuring FlexMR is able to utilise the benefits of cloud-based generative AI, while maintaining a closed system for data protection purposes.

 

Is personal customer data passed to AI?


No Personally Identifying data is passed out of InsightHub to AI, only response data.
As an extra safeguard, we use an internally developed service which uses Regex (Regular Expression) filtering to clean out any PII prior to submission to the model. This happens automatically for AI data.


What is the underlying AI model you use?


The underlying AI model used is ChatGPT.


Where is ChatGPT’s model generated?


In the USA. Only response data is passed to the model in the USA - no PII is passed there.
Can I opt out of the use of AI on my InsightHub?
Yes, of course, this can be done at any time by talking with our Client Success manager or Client Support team. However, you will not be able to take advantage of our PromptAI, TextMR and video analysis tools.
