How to use the email opt-out report

The email opt-out report allows you to view how many members of your site have opted out of receiving site emails.

Please let us know at if you would like this feature to be applied to your site. Once added, to use the email opt-opt feature, visit: Backroom > Database > Email Opt-Out Report


On this page, you will be able to filter by a time period in which users opted-out of emails.

First, select a 'Date from' using the calendar icon or by typing the date in the box. Then, set an optional 'Date to' and click Submit. The number of users who opted out of emails within that time period will then appear at the top of the page, as shown in the screenshot above.

The type of emails which users are opting out of include:

  • Invites/Reminders
  • Newsletters
  • Moderator Comments
  • Forum/Blog notifications

Password reset emails are not included in the email opt-out.
