Accessing your panel, community or project space
How can I reset my password?
- If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page of your community/panel and following the instructions sent to your email.
- Password reset links are time-sensitive and may expire after a certain period for security reasons.
- If you do not receive the password reset email, please check your spam or junk folder before requesting another one.
I am unable to login, what now?
- If you are unable to log in, please ensure that your email address and password are entered correctly, paying attention to capitalization.
- Repeated failed login attempts may temporarily lock your account for security purposes.
- Clearing your web browser cache or trying a different web browser may help resolve login issues.
Updating Account Details and Email Preferences
How can I update my account?
- Log into your account, using the site URL address you normally use to sign
- On a desktop, click on the profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the page
- Here, you can update your screenname, password and email notification preferences
How can I update my email address?
- Log into your account, using the site URL address you normally use to sign
- Once logged in, click the messaging icon in the top-right corner of the page
- Select ‘compose new message’. You will see that you are ‘Sending message to the administrator’
- Compose your subject line and message, and click ‘Send’
- The relevant team will pick up your enquiry and will be in touch to confirm once your email address has been updated.
I want to stop receiving emails!
- Log into your account, using the site URL address you normally use to sign
- On a desktop, click on the profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the page
- Here, you can update your email notification preferences
I want to unsubscribe and deactivate my account.
Please note, once you have unsubscribed, you will then no longer receive email communications and you will no longer be able to log in or take part in any future activities.
To unsubscribe, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your account, using the site URL address you normally use to log in
- On a desktop, click on the profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the page
- Scroll down to the ‘Deactivate account’ section
- Enter your password (the same one you use to log in), and click ‘Deactivate account’
- You have now unsubscribed from the site and deactivated your account.
- Your personal data is deleted in accordance with the MRS Guidelines.
Getting in touch
How can I get in touch with the research organiser or site administrator?
Please check your email invite to find the relevant contact email address for the research you have been invited to. Alternatively, you can log into your account and send us a message directly:
- Once logged in, click the messaging icon in the top-right corner of the page
- Select ‘compose new message’. You will see that you are ‘Sending message to the administrator’
- Compose your subject line and message, including the new email address you would like your account to use, and click ‘Send’
- The relevant team will pick up your enquiry and will be in touch to respond.
I can’t see my task – what can I do?
If you receive an email with a link to take part in a task, but are having issues accessing the task, you can follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Please ensure that the device, operating system and web browser you are using is up to date
- Try refreshing the web page
- If you still can’t access your task, ensure you are logged into your account, and check within the My Tasks list - you will be able to access the task you have been invited to take part in.

Software & System Requirements
What are the software and system requirements?
- For optimal performance, please ensure that your device is running the latest version of its operating system.
- Older operating systems or outdated web browsers may not be fully supported and could cause functionality issues.
- We recommend regularly updating your software to benefit from the latest features, security updates, and compatibility improvements.
- Please ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Participation and Incentives
I have won a voucher / reward – but I’ve not received anything yet?
Please check your junk / spam folder within your emails, as sometimes these emails can be directed there. You can mark the email as ‘not junk’ if you want to move this into your main email inbox and to ensure you will receive future emails.
Please note that vouchers and rewards can only be processed after a specified period of time (typically, but not limited to 4-14 days), following the closure or completion of the research task. This allows time for accurate and secure processing of your voucher or prize.
