Use Case: Using PowerPoint Slides in VideoMR Montages

In addition to video clips, you can also add images to your montage to act as break slides or to give context for any video stimuli used. A full walkthrough for this process can be found here – ‘How to Create a Video Montage’

One particular use case for this feature is using Microsoft PowerPoint slides to create seamless video montages, where upcoming clips can be signposted with ease. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Within your PowerPoint file, go to File > ExportExport PP slides

 2. Select ‘Change File Type’, and change this to JPEG or PNG change file type

 3. Export either all slides, or just the one you're currently onexport slides 2

4. You now have a slide or collection of slides saved as either JPEG or PNG image files which are ready to upload to your montage! Click here for a reminder on how to add these image files slides to your video montage in VideoMR - ‘How to Create a Video Montage’

An example of how you can order PowerPoint slides and video clips effectively within your VideoMR montage can be seen in the image below (where images have been added before video clips to introduce each video, as well as adding a title slide to the video montage).
