Easier password entry for participants

• We have added an option to allow participants to temporarily see their password whilst they're entering it on the participant login page.

  • The 'eye' icon exposes the password as the user enters it on the log in page, to make it easier for users to enter their password correctly - passwords still need to confirm to complexity requirements and are saved in the database as a salted hash as previously.

Participant email updates

• Participants can now log in and update their email address on their User Profile page, so that they don't need to contact moderators if they've updated their details.

  • Confirmation emails are sent to both the old and new email inboxes to prevent account theft.

Configurable session timeout length

• The amount of time before users need to log in again after a period of inactivity can now be configured per site, so that you can choose shorter periods of time for more accurate user statistics and enhanced security, or longer periods to reduce friction for participants loging in to take part in a community.

Maintenance & Bug Fixes

• A fix for an issue with moving tiles in ActivateMR boards that have one tile only.
• A fix for an issue where multiple choice questions with only one available answer option didn't show in the CSV export.

• Fixes against potential security vulnerabilities.
