By using Actions on your ActivateMR board, you can enhance the impact of the insights you’ve generated and add follow up actions to tiles for your entire team.
Getting started
Once your ActivateMR board is created, Actions can be added to any tile in your board and it all starts with selecting the actions icon below:
Once you’ve selected the Actions icon, you can then start assigning Actions for your team and the first step is to complete 4 easy steps:
Title – This should form your instruction for other team members such as ‘Create a survey to follow up on these consumer concerns’ or ‘Communicate this insight to X team’ or even ‘Use this insight to inform X strategy’. Titles should be as clear and succinct as possible so team members can get started on their Action as expediently as possible.
Assigned To – This lets you to assign an Action to anyone that has a client-level account in InsightHub. Once assigned and posted, users are then notified by email and notification with your InsightHub about their new Action.
Status – To make sure that you and all ActivateMR users can keep track and know where they are up to, there are several statuses allowing you to give varying priorities to assigned Actions.
Due Date – When do you need this completed by? Setting a clear due date ensures that everyone is on the same page and the next steps for your insights are never far away.
Reviewing Actions on your board
There’s no limit to how many tiles your ActivateMR board can have, and thus, no limit on how many Actions you can dish out to yourself or your team. So, there are a few key features to help you keep track of everyone’s Actions.
Colour-coded Action
When a tile has an Action attributed to it, the Action icon is set to show in orange (these colours can be personalised to suit your branding or other requirements) to let everyone know that there is an unresolved Action for that tile.
Actions summary
By selecting the Action icon on your board rather than on an individual tile, you can monitor all the Actions from your entire board in one place.
